Nonpublic schools need the required charter and leadership qualifications. Other providers must be established special-education businesses with staff credentialed for the services offered. Review screening and health-and-safety responsibilities too.

Set up OH|ID scholarship access
Use the department's First Steps for Providers instructions to establish the correct account and Scholarship Programs access. Creating an OH|ID login alone does not complete the provider registration.
Apply for Autism Scholarship participation
Complete the program-specific provider application, including requested staff, credential and background-check information. Read the current Rapback guidance and confirm the registration calendar with the department.
Maintain participation and student records
After approval, follow annual renewal requirements and provide the required progress information to the resident district. Keep staff and safety records current and assist families with the student application workflow.
