Identify the role you are applying for
Schools work with certified EAOs. Other educational service providers use the Treasurer's provider process and must meet the requirements for their expense category; business registration alone does not replace professional qualifications.
Your next steps
Choose the school or provider route
A school should identify an EAO partnership and follow school participation guidance. A tutor, therapist or seller of eligible materials should use the educational service provider application linked by the Treasurer.
Prepare category-specific evidence
Review the provider document requirements for your business type and services. Supply the requested organization records and applicable teaching, professional or licensing evidence rather than a generic marketing brochure.
Keep payment and eligibility records
Confirm acceptance and payment instructions before billing. Describe the actual eligible charge on invoices, and check the program's restrictions on related-party services and incentives when designing offers for scholarship families.

Important distinctions
- An EAO certification application is not the application for an ordinary vendor.
- Do not describe every product or service as eligible merely because your business participates.
