In 2010, the Stone Trust was formed as a non-profit corporation with the purpose of preserving and advancing the art and craft of dry stone walling. With a focus on delivering experiential workshops and certification testing, the Stone Trust invites people age 13 and up to learn the five basic skills of dry stone walling. With that start, you may choose to pursue the trade as a pathway to meaningful, sustainable livelihood. The demand is great for skilled wallers in historic preservation and design-build fields.
