About The Penmanship Lab
The Penmanship Lab provides specialized handwriting and fine motor instruction for students who struggle with written communication. Founded by occupational therapist Leslie Catlett, the program supports students with dysgraphia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences that impact handwriting and written output. The Penmanship Lab focuses on improving letter formation, spacing, sizing, pencil grasp, and writing endurance using structured, multi-sensory, research-informed methods. Services are delivered through individualized and small-group sessions, both virtually and in person. The goal of Penmanship Lab is to help students develop legible, efficient handwriting while building the motor and visual skills needed for academic success and confidence in the classroom.
