About The Acorn-A School For Young Children
The Acorn – A School for Young Children seeks to promote self-confidence and a positive self-concept in every child by offering a well-rounded program based on the principles of child development and is designed to enhance all areas of a child’s development: social, emotional, large and fine motor skills, creativity, cognitive skills, and language. Our preschool ratio is 4 to 1 and our elementary is 8 to 1. We emphasize screen free, project-based learning. Our play-based program encourages thinking, a love of learning, creative problem solving, and an appreciation of nature and the outdoors.
