About Rooted in Writing

Rooted in Writing is a monthly subscription activity box created for emerging writers in grades K–2 and reluctant writers in grades 3–5. Each box includes a carefully selected picture book and a set of developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities that support early literacy, fine motor skills, and emergent writing. All materials are included, and every activity is screen-free. The box’s purpose is developmental rather than age-based, so it meets each writer at their current stage — supporting children who are just beginning to write as well as older students who need to rebuild confidence.
