Sarah Canney, creator of Out of Bounds Writing, is a former high school English teacher with experience in public and private schools. She left the classroom to homeschool her children and build a freelance writing career. She has been featured in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Outside Magazine, and her work has appeared in Runner's World, Women's Running Magazine, RunNH Magazine, Vine Leaves Press, Brevity, and more. She is passionate about helping students find their voice and engage in the writing process. She offers classes covering the writing process, persuasive writing, and can assist students in crafting application essays that stand out.
