Notebook Mogul LLC is an Arizona-based educational software company. We make Notebook Mogul, a browser-based financial literacy game for students ages 8–16. Students run a small business across simulated neighborhood markets buying inventory, setting prices, reinvesting profits, and managing setbacks. Along the way they learn supply and demand, the difference between revenue and profit, capital investment, depreciation, and market saturation, not by reading about them but by making decisions and living with the results. The game is self-paced and runs in any modern web browser. There is nothing to download or install. A parent and teacher dashboard is included at no additional cost, showing session data and learning progress. There are no student accounts and no personal information is collected. All progress stays in the student's browser. A free version is available to try at notebookmogul.com before purchase. Notebook Mogul is designed as supplemental instructional material in mathematics and financial literacy, and works alongside any curriculum.
