About Ms. Amy's Tutoring

Hello, I am so excited to meet and teach your child(ren)! I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Westminster College and am certified to teach English as a second language or another language. I taught 5th graders for 6 years in Orlando, Florida, and have taught students in K-12 and college for the last 20 years. I have homeschooled my children and others for the past 16 years and have led after-school reading and math groups for all levels of students. I currently teach & tutor students on multiple online platforms in all subject areas K-12. I have a husband, two children, too many fish to count, and two dogs! Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking, traveling, rafting, and riding all-terrain vehicles with my family. I currently offer private tutoring for grades 1-6 in all core subject areas. I can tailor our sessions to meet your child's current needs by assessing grade-level needs, specific content, and/or homework. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and educational while meeting my students' individual needs. I hope to see you soon!
