HearSense SC provides specialized services for individuals with auditory processing and neurodevelopmental challenges through comprehensive Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) evaluation, auditory training, and primary reflex assessment and integration. APD services focus on identifying specific auditory strengths and weaknesses and providing individualized, evidence-based auditory therapy to improve listening in noise, auditory discrimination, memory, and overall communication skills, with functional strategies to support carryover at home and school. Primary reflex services assess retained dynamic and postural reflex patterns that may interfere with sensory processing, attention, posture, and learning, and address them through targeted neuromotor exercises designed to support nervous system regulation and developmental integration. When appropriate, these services are coordinated to provide a holistic, integrated approach that supports listening, learning, and functional performance across daily environments.
