About FiWe
FiWe (Financial Wellness) provides comprehensive financial literacy program dedicated to educating students and parents on essential financial principles in engaging and age-appropriate ways. FiWe emphasizes off-screen, tactile learning experiences, encouraging students to engage directly with materials like replica coins, interactive books, and physical activities. FiWe's programming, known as "Pillar Programs," aligns with national financial literacy standards and offers interactive, standards-aligned content designed to equip young learners with practical financial knowledge. These materials cover a range of topics from foundational money concepts for young children, such as recognizing and counting coins, to more advanced subjects for older students, including entrepreneurship, budgeting, saving, retirement planning, and understanding student loans. In addition to its "Pillar Programs," FiWe also offers theme-focused resources on key financial areas like counting coins, entrepreneurship, and investing. These resources are designed to deepen understanding in specific areas, with tailored activities that make complex concepts accessible for students of all ages. Through its screen-free, hands-on approach, FiWe aims to make financial literacy accessible, memorable, and enjoyable for all. Beyond classroom materials, FiWe also provides programs specifically for parents, such as the Parent 529 College Savings Plan and Debt Detox for Financial Stability to encourage families to take control of their money. FiWe is a NYC and NYS Certified MWBE small business.
