About Berkeley Charter Education Association

Berkeley Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade. We are proud to operate under the guidance and governance of the Berkeley Charter Education Association, Inc. Board of Directors, which is responsible for shaping and upholding the mission, vision, and values of our school. The Board develops key policies that ensure our students receive a high-quality education in a nurturing, innovative, and inclusive environment. Berkeley Preparatory Academy promotes collaboration among the teachers and learners in each grade level. All teachers within a grade level share a common learning space that they will use to provide differentiated and personalized instruction to all students within that grade level.
